Register for 2023 Spring Thaw Mountain Bike Festival

Ashland, Oregon's Spring Thaw Mountain Bike Festival is in its 30th year! It is one of the biggest and longest standing mountain bike events in Oregon's rich history of racing. It features a Cross Country Race on Saturday that utilizes some of the finest single tracks in Southern Oregon with over 4,000 feet of climbing and descending for the elite and expert riders. The event starts on Saturday with–conditions permitting –the 2060 XC loop and the Kid's Race. It continues on Sunday with two Downhill races starting up at 4 Corners. The first downhill is the traditional course from the rock garden to the bench at Catwalk. The second downhill is a SUPER D, which is the full downhill from the rock garden at 4 corners to the reservoir at Lithia Park. This second race is to incorporate the short course downhill from the rock garden, and add the excitement of continuing all the way down Jabberwocky, with the finish at the reservoir at Lithia Park.
